SENIORS IN THE SADDLE - Program founder and co-chair Herb Berger, left, and club president Carter McIntyre, center, are "ready to roll" with seniors 50 and older for regular bicycle rides Mon., Wed., Fri., Sat., and Sun. mornings.  The Old Kranks Bicycle Club meets in the Westlake Plaza Center parking lot with rides beginning at 8 am from May through October and at 8:30 am from November through April.  Riding levels range from beginners through experienced.  Safety, good health, and making new friendships are emphasized, and helmets are required.  The membership fee is $5 per year.  For more information on these rides and special outings, please call the Goebel Senior Adult Center at (805) 381-2744.
