March 8 - 9:00 am -- Ojai Loop A 50-mile "advanced" ride from Ventura through Santa Paula, up to Steckel Park, Dennison Grade, and straight through back to Ventura on the Ojai bike path. Lunch in Ojai or Ventura. Leader: Tom Bunker Start: Mission Park parking lot in Ventura. Directions: Take the 101 Fwy to Ventura. Exit right on California St., then an immediate left on Thompson Blvd. Go 4 blocks, turn right on Junipero St. (a block past Figueroa). Go 1 block and cross Santa Clara St. into Mission Park parking lot. Alternate route from the freeway: Continue on California St. to Santa Clara St. (2nd light); turn left. Go 4 blocks to Junipero St. and turn right into the Mission Park parking lot. |
